Role: Peptide Purification Lead (Downstream R&D)

Level: Lead Position at Manager/Senior Manager level

Location: Bangalore

**Role Summary: **

• Seeking a skilled professional with 10-16 years of experience in Protein/Peptide Purification to lead and oversee a team.
• Ideal candidate will excel in purification techniques, leadership, experiment planning, data analysis, mentoring, troubleshooting, scale-up, and cost improvement.

**Job Profile:**

• Lead daily operations in the peptide purification lab, managing workflows from milligram to gram scale.
• Supervise and mentor a team, assign tasks, troubleshoot, and foster skill development.
• Analyze experimental data (chromatographic profiles, purity, yield) and generate technical reports.
• Manage laboratory budgeting and costing for purification activities.
• Plan and schedule purification experiments
• Downstream Process development & scaleup activities involved in peptide/protein purification.
• In-depth knowledge of peptide chemistry and purification methods.
• Good knowledge of downstream processing & unit operations involved in peptide/protein purification.
• Proven in using statistical tools for DoE, QbD in process development of peptides/proteins.
• Utilize analytical thinking and data interpretation skills.
• Familiarity with GMP, GLP, and regulatory standards.

**Qualifications/Experience: **

• M. Tech or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.
• 10-16 years of experience in Protein /Peptide Purification role.
