Supervisor, L&D Delivery (Communications, Marketing & Engagement)

Location:


Supervisor, L&D Delivery (Communications, Marketing & Engagement) role based in our India Global Business Services Office.

The candidate is expected to reside in India.


Responsibilities:

In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:


Communications & Change Management:

  • Create stakeholder maps and user personas to understand all the impacted audiences for a program or initiative
  • Create and implement comprehensive change management and communication strategies to promote L&D initiatives and programs and bring stakeholders along on the journey throughout the program lifecycle (e.g. pre-launch, launch, and post-launch)
  • Craft clear, concise, consistent, and engaging messaging aligned with McDonald’s and Hamburger University brand and culture
  • Collaborate with leadership, HR, and other stakeholders to ensure communication aligns with organizational goals and is relatable to many cultures and translatable into many languages
  • Ensure all output is visually engaging and digestible to the target audience


Marketing:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive adoption and engagement in L&D programs and initiatives throughout the program lifecycle (e.g., pre-launch, launch, and post-launch)
  • Create engaging content such as emails, newsletters, videos, infographics, posters, digital content for social media, and more to market learning initiatives, including live or virtual learning events, webinars, or workshops, to encourage registrations and engagement with the content


Employee Engagement:

  • Develop strategies to increase employee participation in L&D programs and build a community of learning influencers (e.g., learning challenges, learning awards, etc.)
  • Leverage course and platform evaluations to identify employee needs and perceptions of learning at McDonald’s
  • Monitor engagement metrics and adjust strategies based on data insights.
  • Facilitate feedback loops with learners and stakeholders to continuously improve communication and engagement effectiveness


Project Management:

  • Managing programs through pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases
  • Collaborating with stakeholders
  • Coordinating across teams and markets


Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience and a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in marketing, internal communications, external communications, change management, or related field
  • Experience working in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Communications, Change Management, or Marketing & Engagement
  • Experience operating in large, multi-national corporations in a highly matrixed, complex structure
  • Experience working across many countries and cultures and creating content for different cultures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of change management, communications, marketing & engagement trends, regulations, and best practices
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Open to learning new systems and processes
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn; self-starter
  • Strong ability to influence others; able to build and drive a strong business case for people as a growth driver
  • Continuous improvement and growth mindset
