Job Summary:

The State Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall business operations, sales performance, and team management within a specific state or territory. The role involves driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, and aligning state-level strategy with the company's goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve targets in the assigned state.
  • Oversee daily operations, team performance, and resource allocation across all branches/locations in the state.
  • Lead, coach, and manage state-level teams including area managers, sales executives, and support staff.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics; generate reports for upper management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal guidelines, and compliance standards.
  • Identify market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities for expansion or efficiency.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, HR, logistics, and finance to support business goals.
  • Conduct regular reviews, team meetings, and field visits to ensure alignment and performance consistency.


Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • Willing to travel 
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in sales, operations, or business development
  • Proven track record of achieving targets and managing large teams.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and travel within the state as required.
  • Industry knowledge relevant to the company’s domain
