The role will involve- planning and implementing network improvement projects, managing network operations, network analysis, bringing in process & cost level improvements. This is a tactical role which has a significant mid-term impact on the business unit s overall results.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:v Installing and configuringCISCO/Versa/Fortiner/ Lavelle SD-WANRoutersv Installing and Configuring a Network Installing, Configuring and operates routed LAN & routed WAN Configuring IP,BGP, OSPF, RIP, IGRP, EIGRP.v Creating users, groups and setting uppolicy for a user's and groups.v Configurationand Troubleshooting of Cisco Switching protocols (RSTP, PVST) Perform databackups and disaster recovery operation.v Analysis of LANnetwork/SD-WAN to determinenetwork performance problems. Provided solutions and documentation.v Configurationand Troubleshooting of VLAN, VTP, VDC, VPC for Cisco switches, IOS upgrading ofrouters and switches.v Carrying out DR (Disaster Recovery) testfor both connectivity and devices for every monthv Investigating, diagnosing, and resolvingall network issues by coordinating with users.v Replacing the network hardware in case offailures and upgradation.v Deploying Cisco Routers and Switches asper the project requirement.v Coordinating with ISP vendors in case oflink failurev Network connectivity troubleshootingv In-Depth Knowledge on Routing andSwitching Protocols.v Experience in Deploying and ManagingCisco Viptela based SDWAN Infrastructure.v Deepunderstanding of the functionality and operations of Viptela SDWAN Components (vBond,vSmart,vManage).Versa Components - Versa Director, Versa Concerto, Versa Analytics, Versa Titanv Understanding of Overlay and Underlay concepts.v Experience in creating/ModifyingConfiguration templates in Cisco SDWAN.v In-Depth Understand of SwitchingProtocols like VLAN, STP, Aggregation etc.v Experience in packet tracer tools likeWireshark etc.v Clear understanding of TCP/IPv Experience in handling routing platformslike. ASR and ISR series Cisco routers.v Responsiblefor managing/monitoring/troubleshooting the SDWAN, FMC and NetworkInfrastructure in the DC, DR andbranch locations.v Responsible for Coordinating with the OEMto resolve P1 issues.v AllIT assets irrespective of installed or third-party vendor installed, theengineer support must be provided by the resources as vendor management.v Responsiblefor work on Vulnerability component

Requirements

v Oversee the overall operationsof the network infrastructure, including monitoring, maintenance, andtroubleshooting.v Ensure high availabilityand performance of the network.v Implement best practicesand standards for network operations.v Coordinate withcross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues.v Lead the response andresolution efforts for major incidents impacting network services.v Coordinate with technicalteams, stakeholders, and vendors to minimize downtime and restore services.v Conduct post-incidentreviews and implement preventive measures.v Develop and maintainbusiness continuity plans for network operations.v Identify critical networkcomponents and implement redundancy measures.v Conduct regular drillsand tests to ensure readiness for potential disruptions.v Ensure compliance withrelevant industry standards, regulations, and internal policies.v Collaborate with internaland external auditors for compliance audits.v Implement correctiveactions and recommendations to address audit findings.v Lead and mentor a team ofnetwork operations professionals.v Set performance goals,provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.v Foster a collaborativeand supportive work environment.v Identify training anddevelopment needs and facilitate skill enhancement programs.
