Key Responsibilities:

• Process Analysis & Optimization:
• Analyze and evaluate existing production processes and systems to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
• Develop and refine production and manufacturing processes using statistical methods and Lean/Six Sigma techniques.
• Workforce Management:
• Analyze labor utilization, job design, and human-machine interface to optimize workforce productivity.
• Develop and implement methods to improve efficiency and ergonomics in the workplace.
• Collaborate with HR and management to plan and manage workforce requirements based on production needs.
• Cost Reduction & Efficiency:
• Conduct time and motion studies to establish standard work procedures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Analyze cost data and develop strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability without compromising quality.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Facility Layout & Design:
• Design and optimize facility layouts to improve flow and minimize handling costs.
• Ensure that layouts meet safety and environmental regulations.
• Plan and coordinate the installation of new equipment and the relocation of existing equipment.
• Project Management:
• Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements, new production lines, or facility expansions.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Monitor project progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
• Quality Control:
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that production processes meet quality standards.
• Implement quality control measures and recommend improvements to enhance product quality.
• Data Analysis & Reporting:
• Collect and analyze data related to production efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
• Use simulation software and modeling techniques to predict outcomes of proposed changes and make data-driven decisions.
