Software Engineer 1 (Data Ops Frontend) Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused DataOps Engineer with expertise in frontend application development and support to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving technical challenges faced by our business users. Candidates should have a learning mindset, expertise in technologies like .NET and React JS, along with advanced communication and problem-solving skills. Those who have worked in a global application development and support environment will be preferred. Responsibilities: Application enhancement and Support: Enhance front-end applications and provide advanced technical support to customers via email and chat. Support applications used by global customers during customer-friendly time zones. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to software and front-end applications. Troubleshoot and debug issues across multiple browsers and devices. Monitor and optimize application performance, accessibility, and security. Suggest innovations to improve ease of use and adoption of applications. Work with customers to understand their specific technical requirements and provide tailored solutions. Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner. Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate engineering teams. Document all customer interactions and technical solutions in the support ticketing system. Customer Interaction: Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through professional and courteous communication. Proactively follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are fully resolved. Flexible time zones: Showcase flexibility to work in customer friendly time zones as per business needs, e.g. availability on weekends for production deployments, on-call coverage, etc. Take ownership and drive meetings with customers. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer pain points. Provide feedback to Product and Engineering teams based on customer interactions and issue trends. Participate in regular team meetings to share knowledge and updates on technical support matters. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and technologies to provide cutting-edge support. Develop and maintain a knowledge base of common technical issues and solutions. Qualification and experience: The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in C.S. Experience in global support is an added advantage. Prior knowledge of .NET, React JS, Microsoft Azure DevOps, MS Office Products, and basic understanding of application support is required. Experience with frontend technologies like Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, MVC, and other modern frameworks is a plus. Experience working with RESTful APIs and data integration would be ideal. Candidates must also have strong customer service, accurate and logical problem solving, and communication skills, and the flexibility to work in diverse time zones. Why consider MAQ Software?
