Job Role: SEO Lead Experience Level: 5 + Years Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (On-site). Job Overview: As an SEO Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and executing comprehensive SEO strategies that drive organic growth, improve search visibility, and achieve measurable business outcomes. You’ll lead SEO eorts, collaborating with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure best-in-class SEO practices across the digital landscape. Responsibilities: The job will involve the following responsibilities: Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies aligned with business goals to boost organic trac and conversions. Conduct in-depth SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement in technical, on-page, and o-page SEO. Spearhead robust keyword research and competitor analysis to inform content planning and optimization eorts. Oversee on-page optimization: crafting compelling meta tags, enhancing site architecture, and ensuring content relevance. Drive o-page SEO and link-building initiatives to enhance domain authority and search rankings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (content creators, developers, designers) to integrate SEO best practices. Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, etc. Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithms and SEO trends to keep our strategies cutting-edge. Present clear and actionable SEO reports to stakeholders, showcasing the impact of your strategies. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical SEO issues, working closely with developers. Mentor and lead junior team members if applicable, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Skills Required Proven track record of successfully improving organic search performance and website rankings. Strong knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and Google ranking factors. Deep understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimization, and o-page SEO. Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.). Solid analytical skills and data-driven mindset to measure, evaluate, and refine SEO strategies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Bonus Experience managing SEO for e-commerce brands or leading SEO teams. Experience with paid search (Google Ads, PPC). Familiarity with content marketing and social media strategies.
