Senior Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management, logistics, and inventory control, ensuring efficient, safe, and effective warehouse operations. This role will involve strategic planning, team leadership, and collaboration with other departments to support the company's supply chain objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping. Ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders to meet customer requirements. Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Inventory Control: Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices to maintain accurate inventory levels. Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations. Manage stock levels to ensure availability of products while minimizing excess inventory. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, including warehouse supervisors, clerks, and material handlers. Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Implement and maintain safety programs and protocols to minimize accidents and injuries. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for warehouse staff. Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods. Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers and negotiate contracts as needed. Monitor transportation costs and implement strategies to optimize shipping efficiency. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technologies to streamline operations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to drive continuous improvement. Budget Management: Develop and manage the warehouse budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources. Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure alignment and support business objectives. Communicate effectively with senior management regarding warehouse performance, issues, and improvements.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
