Location: Pune, India (Hybrid)

Shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST

Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days preferred

Must Have: 7+ years of experience in test automation, mobile automation (iOS & Android), Selenium, Appium, Java/Python, CI/CD, API testing, and framework development.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead our test automation strategy and execution. This role will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, developing reusable test scripts, and increasing overall test coverage across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mobile and web automation, a strong programming background, and a passion for quality engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts for Web, iOS, and Android platforms using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and Maestro.
• Develop reusable, data-driven automation scripts for functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Enable manual QA engineers to write and execute automation scripts through a scalable framework.
• Review nightly automation test runs, triage failures, and report defects.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and data teams to ensure effective test coverage and quality standards.
• Work closely with DevOps to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automation solutions for API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Build mock/dummy data automation solutions for consistent test execution.
• Maintain version control using Git and manage test environments and automation results.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks for both web and mobile platforms.
• Strong mobile automation experience is required (iOS and Android).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, or C#).
• Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience in writing SQL queries and validating data from databases.
• Experience working with data in JSON, XML, or flat files.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with device farms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools is a plus.
• Experience supporting test automation in Agile environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
