Senior Software Engineer ( Nest.Js and Next.Js )

About The Opportunity

• Design, develop, and maintain modular server-side applications using Nest.js, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Build and optimize server-side rendered and static sites with Next.js to maximize performance and SEO impact.
• Collaborate with product owners and UI/UX designers to translate requirements into technical specifications and intuitive interfaces.
• Implement and integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints with SQL/NoSQL back-ends and third-party services.
• Write clean, testable TypeScript code, perform code reviews, and enforce CI/CD best practices for streamlined deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and mentor junior engineers to elevate team capabilities.
  

Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack JavaScript development.
• Proven expertise in Nest.js for building scalable backend services.
• Strong proficiency with Next.js and React for SSR and static site generation.
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Hands-on experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and version control using Git.
  

Preferred

• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven design patterns.
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress) and DevOps workflows.
