Job Description

Position title: Senior Sales EngineerLocation: Bangalore & MumbaiDepartment: Sales & MarketingMust have Experience: Sales of electrical switchgear or power electronic equipment Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced VFD Field Sales Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience in direct sales, OEM business development, and field sales. The ideal candidate will have expertise in selling VFDs, drives, switchgear, panels, transformers, and related electrical products. This role requires a strong technical understanding, sales acumen, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, OEMs, and channel partners. Key Responsibilities:Drive direct sales of VFDs, drives, switchgear, panels, transformers, and other electrical products.Develop new OEM accounts and strengthen relationships with existing clients.Identify new business opportunities and execute strategies to grow sales in the assigned region.Provide technical support and product presentations to customers, ensuring solutions align with their needs.Collaborate with engineering and project teams to customize solutions for clients.Negotiate and finalize sales agreements, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adjust sales strategies.Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and business development plans for management.Conduct field visits, product demonstrations, and technical training sessions for customers.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all sales activities. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics, or a related field.Experience: 5 - 7 years of experience in sales of electrical switchgear, inverters, VFDs, UPS, or related products.Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of electrical and power electronic products, applications, and industry standards.- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.Sales Skills:- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and close deals in a competitive market.- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Customer Focus:- Strong customer orientation with a commitment to providing exceptional service.- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
