Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer Location : Pan India/Regional – (based on requirement) Industry : Industrial Bearings – Steel industry, Company Type : Italian manufacturer of bearings ( T.T.S. Sr.L, Italy ) Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial sales, particularly in bearings for iron & steel industry and material handling industry. You will be responsible for driving technical sales, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting customers with expert product knowledge and application support. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets in assigned sectors and territories of interest Build and maintain relationships with OEMs, distributors, end-users, and other key stakeholders. Provide technical consultation to customers regarding bearing selection, installation, maintenance, and failure analysis. Identify new business opportunities in the respected sectors or new sectors of interest. Conduct product presentations, and demonstrations to clients and partners. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, logistics, marketing) to ensure timely delivery and service support. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to propose improvements. Prepare quotations, proposals, and contract negotiations in line with company policies. Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, forecasts, and CRM updates. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical field. MBA is a plus. Minimum 5–8 years of experience in technical/industrial sales, preferably in the bearings or mechanical components industry . Strong understanding of bearing technologies, industrial applications, and engineering fundamentals. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2B industrial environment. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to travel frequently across India or territories of interest. Proficient in MS Office. Preferred Experience: Prior experience with international bearing brands or multinational mechanical component companies. Exposure to sectors like steel, power, or material handling industries Knowledge of international standards (e.g., ISO, DIN) for bearings and rotating equipment.
