Payday is a modern HRMS and payroll platform, designed to simplify and automate the employee lifecycle for growing businesses. With a strong product foundation and market traction, were ready to scale and we need a seasoned product leader to own the vision.

Who Were Looking For

Were hiring a Senior Product Owner to take end-to-end ownership of the entire Payday platform including Payroll, HRMS, Compliance, and Employee Self-Service experiences. Were looking for someone whos built and scaled HR tech products ideally from companies like Keka, Darwinbox, Zoho People, GreytHR, or ZingHR and is hungry to lead a high-growth product through its next evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and define the complete product roadmap across HRMS and Payroll including core workflows, compliance, automations, employee experience, and integrations.
  • Drive product strategy, balancing customer needs, business priorities, and technical constraints.
  • Lead discovery, problem-solving, feature prioritization, and delivery planning across modules.
  • Work hands-on with engineering, design, QA, CX, and leadership teams to ship high-quality releases.
  • Stay ahead of the curve on HR/payroll compliance, competitive landscape, and best practices.
  • Build scalable systems for leave, attendance, onboarding, exits, benefits, payroll processing, statutory filings, ESS, reporting, and more.
  • Measure product performance, adoption, and feedback to inform continuous improvement.
  • Act as the voice of the product, internally and externally.

Additional Skills:

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1012 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in HR tech or payroll systems.
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end product development in a SaaS HRMS/payroll platform.
  • Deep understanding of Indian payroll, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills able to align cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, and user-obsessed mindset.
