Senior Laravel Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using the
Laravel PHP framework
.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and experience.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to modern development standards.
Integrate third-party APIs and manage database structures and relationships using
MySQL/PostgreSQL
.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Lead code reviews, provide feedback, and guide junior developers.
Identify, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across various components.
Stay up-to-date with Laravel best practices, tools, and technologies.
Participate in Agile/Scrum development process and contribute to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Qualifications

3–5+ years
of experience in PHP development with a strong focus on
Laravel
(v8 or above preferred).
Proficient in
PHP
,
Laravel
,
MySQL/PostgreSQL
, and front-end technologies like
HTML5
,
CSS3
,
JavaScript
, and
Vue.js
(or similar frameworks).
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, OOP principles, MVC architecture, and design patterns.
Experience with
Git
,
CI/CD
,
Docker
, and cloud platforms such as
AWS
or
DigitalOcean
is a plus.
Ability to write and maintain unit and feature tests using
PHPUnit
or similar frameworks.
Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.

Nice to Have

Experience working in fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS-based environments.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code.
