Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, scalable HCL DX portal applications and portlets
• Lead code reviews, solution architecture discussions, and technical estimations
• Ensure compliance with performance, security, and accessibility standards
• Coordinate deployments and upgrades with DevOps and operations teams
• Guide junior developers and ensure adherence to coding best practices
• Work closely with business analysts to translate requirements into portal components
• Optimize DX architecture for performance and scalability
  

Must-Have Skills

• Deep experience in HCL Digital Experience and WebSphere Portal
• Expert-level Java/J2EE, portlet development (JSR-168/286), and WCM
• Experience with SSO integration, LDAP, WAS, and enterprise security
• Proven experience in API integrations, caching strategies, and personalization
  

Preferred Skills

• Team leadership or technical mentorship background
• Agile and DevOps process familiarity
• DX upgrade/migration experience (v8.5 to v9 or newer)
