As we continue to scale our work with industry-leading titles across mobile, PC, and console,
we’re hiring a Senior Graphic Designer who deeply understands game psychology, game
UI/UX, and visual storytelling — and can create stunning, performance-driven visuals for video
ads and in-game experiences.
Role Overview
This is not a general graphic design role. As a Senior Graphic Designer, your work will directly
support the production of gaming-focused content, including visuals for gameplay sequences,
hooks, end cards, UI layouts, iconography, and immersive environment design. You'll work
closely with motion designers, video editors, and creative strategists to craft content that feels
deeply native to games and emotionally resonant with players.
You should have a strong foundation in visual hierarchy, storytelling, UI/UX principles for
gaming, and stylistic adaptation across genres (RPG, FPS, puzzle, strategy, simulation, and
more). This role demands both speed and precision, with a hands-on, collaborative mindset.
Important Note Before Applying
This is a game-focused design role — not a generalist graphic design or social content
position. We do not create banners, social media posts, or thumbnails. Applicants must
demonstrate a portfolio with real game-related visual work, including UI design,
environmental layouts, and graphic support for motion/video projects. Familiarity with gaming
culture, platforms, and art pipelines is essential.
Key Responsibilities
● Design static visuals that power performance ads, including hook frames, gameplay
compositions, and end cards.
● Create, adapt, or enhance game UI elements (menus, overlays, HUDs, icons) to
improve clarity, polish, and performance in ads or mockups.
● Design stylized 2D and 3D assets, including icons, in-game props, backgrounds, and
interface components, aligned with genre expectations and creative direction.
● Illustrate or direct illustration for characters, environments, and props, supporting
both real and stylized art styles.
● Craft immersive visual environments for gameplay recreation and creative concepting
— including mood boards, paint-overs, or simplified scene builds.
● Collaborate with motion designers to align visual assets with animation pipelines,
ensuring harmony in movement, composition, and effects.
● Interpret data and creative testing outcomes to evolve graphic approaches that drive
higher performance.
● Deliver organized, layered files for motion and editing teams, ready for animation,
compositing, or rapid iteration.
● Maintain a rapid production rhythm while ensuring attention to detail and visual clarity
across all creative formats.
Tools & Software
Must Have:
● Adobe Photoshop (advanced proficiency)
● Adobe Illustrator
Nice to Have:
● Basic knowledge of After Effects (to understand motion design pipelines)
AI Tool Proficiency:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong skills and hands-on experience with generative
AI tools used in visual design workflows. Proficiency with the following tools is expected:
● Midjourney, Leonardo AI, Kling AI, Runway ML, Hugging Face, etc
—leveraging AI tools to complement and accelerate graphic design tasks—is essential.
Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI asset cleanup, and seamless integration of AI outputs
into traditional workflows is highly preferred.
Requirements
● 4–6 years of experience as a graphic designer or illustrator within the gaming industry.
● A strong portfolio focused on game-centric design, including environment mockups,
UI concepts, icon systems, and campaign visuals.
● Deep understanding of game design psychology, player behavior, and visual
expectations across game genres and platforms (mobile, PC, console).
● Proven experience collaborating with motion and video teams to build cohesive asset
pipelines.
● Strong grasp of visual hierarchy, typography, lighting, color theory, and brand adaptation
across game IPs.
● Experience designing for or modifying existing game UIs, including menu screens,
reward systems, and HUDs.
● Capable of adapting to multiple art styles — from hyper-casual minimalism to detailed
fantasy and sci-fi aesthetics.
● Ability to work quickly and precisely under tight turnarounds, with excellent
communication and organization skills.
