Senior Automation Engineer (Performance Testing)

Responsibilities

• API Testing: Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual API tests using tools like Postman, SOAP UI, or similar.
• Performance Testing: Conduct performance tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or other relevant frameworks.
• Manual Testing: Perform comprehensive manual testing for complex systems, writing test cases, and reporting defects.
• Automation Testing: Develop, execute, and maintain test scripts using Selenium and Python for UI and regression testing.
• OOP Basics (Good to Have): Understand basic object-oriented programming concepts in Java or JavaScript to enhance testing strategies.
• Team Leadership: Mentor QA engineers, manage workloads, and guide test strategies.
• Test Planning: Collaborate with developers to create detailed test plans for new features.
• Defect Tracking: Log, track, and resolve defects, ensuring proper documentation.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality at all stages of the software lifecycle.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with tools like Azure DevOps.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years in QA testing, with a primary focus on API and performance testing.
• Proven expertise in Selenium with Python.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Postman, JMeter, and LoadRunner.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  

Skills

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps pipelines and Git version control.
• Strong manual testing skills and test methodologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD integration in workflows.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Basic understanding of OOP principles in Java or JavaScript.
