SAP Fiori Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE and SAP BAS
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Build custom and standard SAP Fiori apps (Freestyle & Fiori Elements)
• Develop and consume OData services; basic ABAP knowledge for backend integration
• Configure and manage Fiori Launchpad and implement SAP Smart Controls
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Maintain detailed documentation for development processes and end-user guidelines
• Stay current with SAP Fiori trends and innovations
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of experience in SAP Frontend Development (SAPUI5 / Fiori)
• Strong command of:
• SAPUI5 controls, routing, and data binding
• UI5 Freestyle application development
• Fiori Launchpad configuration and CDS views
• Development using SAP Web IDE & SAP BAS
• OData services (consumption and creation)
• JavaScript, XML, JSON, CSS, HTML5, JQuery
  

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SAP BTP tools: SAP Build, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Workzone
• Experience with SAP BTP frameworks: CAP (Cloud Application Programming) or RAP (Restful ABAP Programming)
• Integration knowledge using REST APIs and web services
• Exposure to Fiori Design Patterns and UI Theme Designer
• Strong problem-solving ability and independent execution
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Only Development profiles will be considered (No support or administrative experience)
• Minimum 2 years of tenure in previous organizations (No frequent job changes)
• Relocation to Chennai is mandatory
