SAP Fiori Developer

The SAP Fiori Developer role involves designing, developing, and deploying innovative SAP Fiori applications while also customizing standard Fiori apps to align with specific business requirements. Your responsibilities will include app development, OData service development, launchpad configuration, performance optimization, and documentation. In terms of App Development, you will be tasked with designing and implementing custom SAP Fiori applications using SAP UI5, JavaScript, XML, and HTML5. Additionally, you will extend and modify standard SAP Fiori applications based on business needs, create reusable UI5 components and libraries, and integrate Fiori apps with backend SAP systems using OData services. For OData Service Development, you will design and implement robust OData services through NetWeaver Gateway to expose SAP data for Fiori applications. This will involve implementing CRUD operations and complex queries in OData services, as well as conducting performance optimization for OData. As part of Launchpad & Security responsibilities, you will configure and manage the SAP Fiori Launchpad, implement Fiori security roles, debug and resolve issues within Fiori applications and OData services, and ensure optimal performance and user experience. You will also collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and UI/UX designers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and create technical specifications and design documents. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and possess 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP Fiori and UI5 development. Proficiency in SAP UI5, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, XML, and experience with SAP NetWeaver Gateway are essential. Knowledge of SAP Fiori architecture, familiarity with Fiori Launchpad configuration, and experience in extending and customizing standard Fiori applications are also required. Additionally, skills in using development tools like Web IDE, Business Application Studio, and VS Code, as well as familiarity with SAP backend systems (ECC/S/4HANA) and version control systems (e.g., Git), are necessary. Nice-to-have skills include experience with SAP S/4HANA embedded analytics and CDS views, knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform services related to Fiori, familiarity with Agile methodologies, UI/UX design principles, and experience with Fiori on iOS/Android through Fiori Client. Strong problem-solving, debugging, analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration within a team environment.,
