SAP FI-AP Lead Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP FI-AP solutions.
• Conduct and facilitate business workshops to gather requirements and drive alignment on AP process designs.
• Analyze existing AP processes and propose SAP-standard and industry-best-practice solutions to enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
• Prepare detailed business process documentation, functional specifications, and system design documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, Procurement, and Treasury to ensure integrated and consistent solutions.
• Oversee and support AP-related data migration, system testing (unit, integration, UAT), cutover planning, and go-live readiness.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and team members during implementation and support phases.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by offering deep insights into AP best practices and SAP capabilities.
• Ensure project milestones and deliverables are met in accordance with defined timelines and quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP FI, with a core focus on Accounts Payable.
• At least

  2 full-cycle SAP implementations

  or rollouts as an FI-AP Lead Consultant.
• In-depth knowledge of AP processes including vendor master management, invoice processing, payment processing, tax handling (VAT, WHT), and integration with procurement (MM).
• Strong ability to lead business process workshops and influence stakeholders on solution decisions.
• Hands-on experience with SAP configuration for FI-AP and related integration points.
• Familiarity with

  SAP S/4HANA Finance

  is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-centric mindset.
