Our client, a global strategy consulting firm, is partnering with a leading Indian FMCG company on a large-scale sales and marketing transformation project . We are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant with a strong background in the FMCG or FMCD sector to support a critical growth initiative. The focus will be on driving sales growth by setting up and scaling distribution and sales processes across multiple key states in India. This is a hands-on, field-focused role , ideal for professionals who are comfortable working on-ground across Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities. Role & Responsibilities: Set up local sales processes, systems, and teams in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities Oversee day-to-day salesforce operations and align them with overall sales goals Enhance distribution channels and optimize dealer and retailer networks Drive trade marketing and BTL (below-the-line) activations to boost visibility and sales Maintain strong coordination with sales stakeholders for smooth execution Travel frequently across West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh for on-site execution Collaborate closely with local teams, distributors, and senior management to drive results Your Background: 4 to 13 years of experience in FMCG or FMCD sales and distribution Proven experience in setting up and managing sales operations and networks Proficient in Excel and sales data analysis Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Other Information: Contract Duration : 6 to 12 months (initial) Location : On-site across key Indian states, with travel back to base location on weekends Working Days : 5 days a week (on-site) If you are a motivated sales professional looking to contribute to a high-impact transformation project in the FMCG/FMCD space, we’d love to hear from you.
