Business Development Sales Manager - Civil Engineering Consultancy

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Sales Manager to join our growing team.   • Market Research & Opportunity Identification
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, and new business opportunities.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to develop effective sales strategies.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for lead generation, including networking, cold outreach, industry events, and leveraging existing contacts.
  • Identify and target key decision-makers within public and private sector organizations.
  • Initiate and nurture relationships with prospective clients, understanding their needs and pain points.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client requirements and positioning our services as optimal solutions.
  • Lead the development of compelling and customized proposals, presentations, and bids in response to RFPs/RFQs.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client needs and our capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus
  • .10-12 years of progressive experience in Business Development or Sales within the civil engineering consultancy sector
  • .In-depth understanding of the civil engineering project lifecycle and key stakeholders
  • .Strong network of contacts within the civil engineering industry
  • .Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • .Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • .Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
