Job Description

About the Role:

Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new leads through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach.
  • Develop relationships with decision-makers in industries such as education, engineering, oil & gas, and process industries.
  • Product Presentation & Demonstration:

  • Deliver compelling product demos and presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Understand client requirements and propose the most suitable dynamic simulation or software solutions.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle—from inquiry to closure.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, activities, and opportunities in CRM tools.
  • Negotiation & Closing:

  • Prepare and present commercial proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms within defined margins and guidelines.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with pre-sales, product, and technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
  • Provide regular updates on sales performance and market feedback to leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (technical background preferred).
  • 2–4 years of sales experience in industrial software, simulation tools, SaaS, or B2B technology products.
  • Strong understanding of solution-based selling and customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Willingness to travel, if required.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience in selling

    dynamic simulation software

    , DCS/PLC solutions, or engineering software (e.g., Aspen, Honeywell, Siemens, MATLAB/Simulink).
  • Exposure to

    Industry 4.0

    , digital twin, or process automation technologies.
  • Existing network in industrial training centers, universities, or process plants.
