Ruby On Rails Developer Responsibilities:-
1. Designing and developing Ruby on Rails web applications/web services in an agile environment. 2. Implement AJAX features and functionality using Javascript Integrate and optimise HTML/CSS Front-Ends solid experience with ROR, MySQL/Cassandra, Shell Scripting, strong experience in Angular, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and Web Services. 3. Working experience in using jQuery and D3. Experience in converting UI/UX design to HTML elements/assets. 4. Experience with SCRUM or equivalent Agile development methodologies. 5. A good understanding of usability and accessibility, including coding to WAI standards. 6. Maintaining and troubleshooting existing web applications. 7. Writing and maintaining reliable Ruby code. 8. Integrating data storage solutions. 9. Identifying and fixing bottlenecks and bugs. 10. Creating back-end components. 11. Integrating user-facing elements designed by the front-end team. 12. Connecting applications with additional web servers. 13. Maintaining APIs. Ruby On Rails Developer Requirements:-
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field. 2. Must have more than 6 months of in-depth experience in Ruby on Rails 3. Experience working with Ruby On Rails as well as libraries like Resque and RSpec. 4. Deep understanding of object-oriented programming. 5. Ability to write clean Ruby code. 6. Proficiency with code versioning tools, including Git, GitHub, SVN, and Mercurial. 7. Understanding of web services technologies, such as REST, is required. 8. Good experience and understanding of continuous integration and deployment processes. 9. Knowledge in working with AWS or other cloud platforms. 10. Experience in working with limited direction while exceeding delivery expectations. 11. Experience with AngularJS or ReactJS. 12. Familiarity with MVC, Mocking, RESTful, and ORM. Skills - Ruby On Rails (ROR), JRuby, Spree, Rstalk and Docker, RSpec.
