Quality Assurance Automation Engineer (Mobile and Web) for Ventaja

About Us:

Senior QA Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts for

  mobile applications (iOS and Android)

  and

  web-based platforms

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and manual testers to ensure high-quality releases
• Build scalable and maintainable test frameworks for regression and functional testing
• Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to ensure product quality
• Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues; work with dev teams for resolution
• Drive continuous improvement in test coverage, speed, and reliability of automation suites
• Support CI/CD pipeline integrations to include automated testing
• Mentor junior QA team members in best practices and automation strategies

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation with a focus on

  mobile and web application testing

• Strong expertise in tools such as

  Appium, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, BrowserStack, or similar

• Experience testing

  Flutter, React Native, or native Android/iOS

  apps preferred
• Proficient in writing test scripts using

  Python, Java, or JavaScript

• Good understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and Agile practices
• Hands-on experience with

  CI/CD tools

  like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with performance and load testing tools like

  JMeter or K6

• Familiarity with security and compliance testing (e.g.,

  PCI DSS

  environments)
• Prior exposure to fintech applications or high-availability systems
