Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
Design and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, UI, and exploratory testing across web and/or mobile platforms.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure product quality.
Report bugs clearly and concisely with proper reproduction steps and documentation.
Ensure that delivered software meets the quality standards and project requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–2 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
Good understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Strong knowledge of test case creation, execution, and defect lifecycle.
Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience testing across multiple browsers and mobile devices is a plus.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
