Must-Have Expertise

• 7+ years overall QA Automation experience

  with strong engineering ownership
• Extensive hands-on with

  Selenium WebDriver (Java)

  : page objects, explicit waits, exception handling for complex dynamic UIs
• Proficiency in

  SQL

  for multi-table joins, aggregations, and subqueries to validate backend data (Oracle/MySQL/SQL Server)
• Solid experience with

  API testing via Postman

  , including headers/auth tokens, status codes, payload assertions
• Working knowledge of

  JUnit/TestNG

  , Maven/Gradle, Git/GitHub, JIRA, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to independently design, debug, and execute test automation suites

Nice-to-Have

• Exposure to

  REST Assured

  for API automation
• Familiarity with

  BDD frameworks (Cucumber feature files)

• Awareness of CI/CD tools like

  Jenkins, GitHub Actions,

  and test reporting via Extent Reports

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automation scripts across UI and backend services
• Perform data validations with complex SQL queries
• Validate REST APIs using Postman
• Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product owners within Agile sprints
• Contribute to defect triaging, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of automation frameworks
