QA Automation Engineer – Python (BDD Framework) / Bengaluru - Hybrid

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Selenium and Python, along with expertise in BDD frameworks such as Behave or Specflow. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in web applications, web services, and API testing, and a solid understanding of SDLC, manual testing, and QA best practices.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

 7+ years of experience in QA/Software Testing
 Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Selenium automation using Python Experience in building and maintaining BDD frameworks (Python Behave or Specflow) Proficient in automation testing of Web Applications and RESTful Web Services Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and manual testing methodologies Skilled in designing and executing test cases for both manual and automated testing Solid understanding and application of automation frameworks, test strategies, and tools Proficiency in Python programming for test automation scripting Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver Familiar with QA automation tools and methodologies

Optional Skills (Nice To Have)

 Experience using source control tools like GIT or TFS
 Working knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing Exposure to Salesforce testing environments Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) Experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI

Educational Qualifications

 Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
 Equivalent work experience in QA Automation with Salesforce, Python, and Selenium isacceptable

Good To Have

 Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines and automated deployment/testing workflows
 Prior experience in Agile/Scrum teams Certification in Automation Testing or QA-related disciplines
