Job Description

Responsibilities Formulation of Strategic Project Plans: Formulate and develop strategic project plans that incorporate goals, objectives, to guide project execution. Prepare comprehensive planning documents detailing key deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and milestones, ensuring alignment with overall project strategy and organizational objectives. Assist in the preparation of Project Macro Schedules within 30 days from management approval, considering resource and material requirements. Management of Project Schedules: Continuously monitor and evaluate project progress, integrating timely schedule adjustments to reflect changes in project scope, resource availability, or unforeseen delays. Review and Analysis of S-Curves on a regular basis and highlight deviations from the baseline plan for the escalations. management. Management of Planning Resources: Manage and optimize planning resources, including personnel, software tools, and data, to support the effective execution of planning activities. Ensure that all planning tools are utilized efficiently, addressing any gaps or inefficiencies to enhance productivity, oversee reporting, preparing project control and portfolio reports, and managing the MIS review and release as required. Development and Implementation of Planning Procedures: Develop, establish, and implement standardized planning procedures to ensure consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness in project planning activities. Promote best practices in project management to enhance efficiency and minimize delays, supporting business excellence and digital transformation initiatives. Analysis and Optimization of Project Plans: Conduct comprehensive analysis of project plans to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement using advanced planning techniques. Make data-driven adjustments to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of project plans. Prepare reports on project progress and deviations from the baseline plan, keeping management and stakeholders apprised of any issues. Monitoring effectiveness of Safety standards followed at site with site visits as and when required. Qualifications Qualification : BE / B Tech with Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field is value added.
