Job Description Key Responsibilities: Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify key trends, emerging technologies (e.g., electrification, connectivity, autonomy), evolving customer preferences, and regulatory changes within the automotive industry, specifically within the Indian market and potentially global markets Product Strategy Development: Contribute to the formulation and refinement of the overall product strategy for the company's vehicle portfolio, considering both short-term and long-term horizons Competitive Intelligence & Benchmarking: Conduct regular benchmarking exercises against key competitors, analyzing their product offerings, technology adoption, and market strategies. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with various internal teams, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance, to ensure alignment on product strategy and execution. Strategic Planning & Support: Assist in the development of long-range product plans and strategic initiatives & Reprting & Presentation: Contribute to the development of presentations and reports for senior management on product strategy and market outlook. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical), Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree is a plus. 3-6 years of relevant experience in product strategy, product planning, market analysis, or business development within the automotive industry or related sectors (e.g., technology, mobility). Strong understanding of the automotive market, including vehicle technologies, market segments, and competitive landscape, preferably with specific knowledge of the Indian automotive market. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
