Job Description

Experience:

Location:

Principal Engineer

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and performant systems while providing technical leadership and mentorship across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead architecture and design of advanced networking and security platforms.
Develop and maintain solutions using C, Python, and Go in a Linux environment.
Work closely with DevOps and Security teams to ensure cloud-native infrastructure meets reliability and security benchmarks.
Drive end-to-end development efforts including planning, coding, testing, and automation.
Evaluate and integrate with Identity Providers like Okta, Azure AD for secure authentication/authorization.
Optimize performance and reliability of IP networks, including IPv6, MPLS, and segment routing technologies.
Define and enforce standards for secure, cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
Automate test frameworks using tools like Netmiko, Spirent, IXIA, and Wireshark.
Lead technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Routing: OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, IP Multicast (IGMP, PIM), HSRP, BFD
MPLS: LDP, L2/L3 VPNs, TE, FRR, OAM
Segment Routing, IPv6
Data Center: vPC, FabricPath, VxLAN EVPN, CLOS fabrics
IP QoS, SNMP, Netconf, YANG, REST, VPP Data Plane

Testing & Automation Tools:

iPerf, TRex, Spirent, IXIA
Wireshark, Netmiko

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven leadership in designing and delivering complex systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and travel when necessary.
