  • Pre-sales engineers provide technical support to sales teams, helping to answer technical questions, resolve issues, and facilitate the sales process. Ensure the Technical solution is aligned with Client's business need and meets their budget and timeline requirements. Identifying new Opportunities. Work with Sales team to develop strategies to win new clients.
  • Pre-sales engineers provide technical expertise and consultation to customers to identify their needs and determine the best solution to meet those needs and pain points.
  • Pre-sales engineers demonstrate the capabilities of a product or service to customers, often in a cloud based sandbox or live presentation or webinar format.
  • Pre-sales engineers work with customers and internal team to design and customize solutions that meet their specific requirements and business goals.
  • Pre-sales engineers develop and execute proof-of-concept (POC) projects to demonstrate the viability of a solution or to validate its fit for purpose.
  • The pre-sales engineer responds to technical inquiries from clients, providing them with detailed information about the product and how it can solve their problems.
  • Pre-sales engineers develop and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and product specifications.



Qualifications

Education Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. MBA in Sales/Marketing will be an added advantage


Technical Skills

Strong technical background and be able to understand complex IT solutions. They should be knowledgeable in areas such as cloud computing, WAN networking, cybersecurity, and software development.


Communication Skills

Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. They should also be able to listen to customer needs and provide solutions accordingly. Sales skills ability to work closely with sales teams to demonstrate the technical capabilities of a product or solution. Therefore, they should have strong sales skills and be able to articulate the value proposition of a solution to potential customers. Certifications AWS Certified Practiconer / Solutions Architect or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), can be beneficial for pre-sales engineers to demonstrate their technical expertise.
