Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (e.g., Windows Server, Linux). Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and user account permissions. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues. Perform regular backups and test restoration procedures. Ensure server security through patch management, firewall configuration, and antivirus tools. Manage virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V). Plan and implement server upgrades, maintenance schedules, and disaster recovery strategies. Create and maintain documentation of server configurations, processes, and procedures. Support application teams and other IT personnel with server-related issues. Monitor and manage data center operations, including power, cooling, and physical security.
