We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with 3-5 years of experience in CakePHP (or other MVC frameworks) to join our team. The role involves working closely with clients to deliver impactful solutions and contributing to all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Engaging in continuous one-on-one interaction with clients to understand and deliver their vision.
• Actively contributing to all phases of the SDLC — from architecture to deployment.
• Developing high-quality, maintainable code using CakePHP / CodeIgniter / Laravel within set timelines.
• Designing databases, writing clean backend logic, and integrating with third-party APIs (e.g., Payment Gateways, PayPal, REST/SOAP APIs).
• Acting as a Development Lead on small projects — from task estimation to execution and reporting.
• Creating documentation like low-level designs, unit test cases, and tracking status effectively.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/TDD environment.
• Strong command of Core PHP, MySQL, and MVC frameworks (CakePHP preferred).
• Proficiency with Linux, Apache, and frontend tech: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap, AJAX, JSON.
• Experience with version control systems like GitHub or SVN.
• Familiarity with Agile Development, test-driven development (TDD/TFD), and writing robust unit tests.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and logical reasoning.
• Ability to self-manage tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain excellent client communication.
