Role purpose Data centre Network Service Design Senior Engineer role is part of the centralized DC Network design team within Vodafone Technology. Engineer will have ownership for overall Network design aspects of network projects assigned, working closely with other SMEs, Architects, Project Management and Infra Services to endure standard solutions, which comply with group strategy and policy. Roles & Responsibilities: Create Network service solution design-HLD document. Understand the services to build high-performance & optimize solution. Design & migration the services connectivity solution from legacy network environment to SDWAN/ACI/NSX/Private Cloud environment according to Vodafone security Zoning & Routing Standards. Forecast future performance, availability and capacity requirement based on business plan, usage trends and service portfolio plan. Work with other team member to provide Network Service design/ops support for service restoration & seamless connectivity. Prioritization and optimum utilization of design resources. Responsibility of managing Data Center network projects design & providing timely updates. Proven ability to communicate solution strategy and product offerings while designing innovative solutions. Core Competencies & Knowledge: Experience in Data center build, consolidation, migration to public cloud. SDN (SD-WAN, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX), Python, Automation with Terraform/Ansible Should have hands on experience on Cisco Nexus Data center devices Switching (Fabric-path) ,Routing (OSPF, BGP, BFD), Segment Routing, Ethernet , Fabric Path, VXLAN Private Cloud & Public cloud (Cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP etc. ) VOIS Equal Opportunity Employer Commitment VOIS is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
