Mobile Engineer (Android)

Objectives

As a Mobile Engineer (Android) at Woliba, you will:

1. Develop Robust Android Applications:

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, scalable, and user-friendly Android apps.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code while adhering to best practices.

1. Collaborate Across Teams:

• Work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver exceptional mobile experiences.
• Contribute to technical discussions and provide solutions to challenges during development.

1. Ensure Performance and Quality:

• Identify and resolve bugs, optimize app performance, and ensure responsiveness across devices.
• Implement thorough testing to ensure apps meet the highest quality standards.

1. Drive Innovation:

• Stay updated with the latest Android technologies, trends, and best practices.
• Advocate for continuous improvement in app design and functionality.

Deliverables

• Deliver feature-rich updates and improvements for Woliba’s Android app based on the product roadmap.
• Provide thorough technical documentation for implemented features.
• Achieve performance metrics such as stability, scalability, and user retention.
• Maintain smooth integration with APIs and backend systems to ensure app reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience:

  3+ years of professional experience developing Android applications.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Kotlin and familiarity with Java.
• Strong understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and Jetpack libraries.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Google Play Store submission and distribution process.

• Tools:

  Experience with Android Studio, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for Android development.

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.
