  • Reviewing, approval/commenting on all MEP Shop drawings, Coordination drawings, method statements and material submittals.
  • Detailed supervision and day to day inspection of the works as directed by the Resident Engineer.
  • Supervise the contractors to ensure the works are constructed as per specification and approved GFC drawings.
  • Ability to review MEP drawings, schematic diagrams, load schedule and related specifications and should be able to suggest any changes if needed as per Client requirement.
  • Completion of various forms, documenting the quality and progress of the various sections and areas of the construction work in accordance with the relevant supervision procedure.
  • Maintain a very high level of Safety awareness and ensure the contractor complies with his obligations.
  • Resolves site issues on site.
  • Coordinate with Client and Contractor for any interface issues occurred at site during progress of the work.
  • Responsible for following up on instructions & commitments associated with the project.
  • Review Project plans, i.e. Project Execution Plan, Health & Safety Plan, Quality Control Plan and to Coordinate with the team for progress of the work as per schedule.
  • Attending regular meetings (on work progress, coordination, design etc.) with Contractor, Vendors and Client to discuss the key issues related to the project.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Represent testing and commissioning of complete system.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a recognized university
  • 5+ years of professional experience in relevant engineering discipline
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software/tools
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage deliverables in a fast-paced environment
