Job Description

Lead Distribution & API Integration Specialist


You’ll work on setting up, maintaining, and monitoring ping-post, pre-ping, and ping-tree integrations, and be the point person for all lead delivery logic across multiple buyer accounts.


This is a hands-on, mid-level role ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world distribution problems through automation, data accuracy, and API reliability.


Key Responsibilities:

Lead Routing & Distribution

  • Build and manage lead delivery logic for external buyers, using rules based on geography, lead source, buyer caps, etc.
  • Implement and manage ping-post, pre-ping, ping-tree, and direct post integrations.
  • Set up prioritization layers and fallbacks (e.g., if Buyer A rejects, Buyer B gets pinged).

API Setup & Integration

  • Create and maintain REST API integrations with lead buyers.
  • Handle authentication methods (API keys, bearer tokens, basic auth).
  • Debug and validate API payloads (JSON/XML) and resolve delivery failures.
  • Use tools like Postman, webhook.site, or n8n for testing and flow simulation.

Monitoring & QA

  • Monitor API delivery status and logs daily to ensure lead flow continuity.
  • Handle alerting and diagnostics for any delivery issues or mismatches.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure buyer criteria are correctly implemented.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with the Revenue Ops Manager to prioritize delivery logic and experiments.
  • Coordinate with Sales/Account teams to update buyer filters or lead caps.
  • Collaborate with Product/Engineering to implement scalable routing solutions.


What You Should Bring:

  • 2–6 years of experience in operations, integrations, or performance marketing.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, payload construction, and authentication methods.
  • Hands-on experience with ping/post or webhook-based systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot HTTP errors and read API documentation confidently.
  • Familiarity with lead generation, CRM, or adtech ecosystems is a big plus.
  • Comfortable using tools like Postman, Zapier/n8n, webhook.site, or log analyzers.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with buyers in verticals like legal, insurance, or financial services.
  • Exposure to TCPA/trusted form compliance in lead generation.
  • Understanding of concurrency limits, retry logic, and data deduplication best practices.
