Job Accountabilities – Duties & Responsibilities ·
Technical specialist in the management team for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, ELV and specialized systems, pumping stations, water supply and treatment etc.
Monitoring design, supervision during construction to ensure best practice design and quality construction is delivered on time and to cost.
· Review and monitor the progress of the Contractor’s MEP work such as installation of power Sub Station and Distribution works, UPS, Air conditioning, BMS systems, Lifts, Escalator's, Fire hydrant & protection system, water distribution system and other MEP activities as required.
· Serve as the MEP expert in the PM team for all matters related to design, quality assurance and documentation of mechanical works.
· Understand project goals, helps Construction Manager in preparation of project execution strategy
· To handle various projects starting from initializing, planning, execution, controlling & closure involving subcontracting, construction and hover within time frame & budgetary schedule.
· Handle client discussions - Coordinate with architects, engineers for the project
· Advise Construction Manager regarding critical deficiency of contractors and associated risks and suggest corrective measures
· Should have proficient in executing electrical.
· Cost Analysis & productivity analysis to be done and well implemented at site
· Coordinate with the Planning Department for updation in master project plans and working out recovery plans in case of delays · Coordinate the MEP Services consultant, Vendors, Contractors, subcontractors, Project Execution Team and Planning Team.
· Continually review the contractor construction schedule during the progress of the site works with regards to MEP services and report to the Project Director on the same
· Document project progress and/or delays through letters which can be used as contractual aids during disputes.
· Able to review resource reports like (manpower histograms, plant and machinery schedule) and ascertain adequacy of resources deployed for timely completion of the project · Review monthly bills of the contractors
· Should have knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, BIM software and Construction Project management software
· Streaming day to day operations as Head of the function. Skills Required (Knowledge and Skills) · MEP Management
· Strong knowledge of installation and testing & commissioning of all Electrical/HVAC /Piping / Plumbing / Firefighting Systems used in building services and infrastructure projects
· Prior experience of design or maintenance will be an added advantage · Awareness/ Exposure on various Construction/System methodologies
· Excellent interpersonal & communication skill and stakeholder management Key Attributes (Experience and Qualifications)
· Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering · Minimum 15+ years of experience in real estate or construction company
