  • Market Intelligence:

Conduct ongoing market research and competitor benchmarking. Curate a central knowledge base of solutions, case studies, and innovations.
  • Stakeholder Management:

Act as the SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for all internal stakeholders and external automation vendors during project lifecycles.
  • RFQ Management:

Prepare and float RFQs/RFPs for automation solutions, support technical-commercial evaluation, and conduct post-RFQ analysis.
  • Solution Development:

Assist in designing warehouse automation solutions that improve productivity and reduce total cost of ownership.

Warehouse Design Support (~30% of role):

  • Collaborate with internal solution design teams on end-to-end warehouse design projects including layout planning, process optimization, and flow simulation.
  • Support the development of scalable designs with automation as a key enabler.
  • Assist in data analysis to help develop network models and fleet routing simulations using advanced analytics tools (LLamasoft).

Qualifications:

  • A strong interest in Distribution Centre (DC) Automation, data analysis, material handling systems, picking technologies like Goods-to-person, AMR assisted picking, sortation conveyors etc., and the development of automation-driven business cases.
  • Demonstrates a structured and detail-oriented work style, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams across the Asia-Pacific region, including Supply Chain Solution Architects, Analysts, and Consulting Associates.
  • Holds a degree in a discipline that blends analytical and/or commercial acumen, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or Supply Chain Management.
  • Ideally brings 3+ years of experience in the supply chain or logistics industry; exposure to consulting or solution design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with network modelling tools (e.g., LLamasoft) and warehouse design software (e.g., CLASS, AutoCAD, SketchUp) is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Capable of supporting the preparation and submission of tender responses, RFQs, and commercial proposals, ensuring clarity and accuracy
