Junior QA Engineer (0-2 years)

THE OPPORTUNITY Sapaad Software Private Limited is looking for Junior Quality Assurance(QA) engineers for our office in Smartcity Kochi to join a team of exceptional engineers and work in a fast-paced environment to deliver world-class software. In your role, you will work with the Assurance Lead to develop and execute test processes to ensure product quality. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions, reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.) ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Study & understand completely the company’s products at a business/customer experiential level, including product eco-system, product roadmap, and product vision. Build detailed, structured test case documentation for every operational area of the software Build test plans, test data, test automation, test logs, and testing strategy Report defects/bugs/usability issues with a aggressive goal to achieve 100% bug-free releases Ownership of defect replication as reported internally or externally (customers) Ownership of defect closure, including response to development team where necessary to clarify defects and steps to replicate them To translate test cases into automated end-to-end test scripts Integrating test suites into the test management system Usability and experience tests Load tests Certify builds as ready for production Keep up-to-date on the overview of the development technology, the popular testing tools (e.g. automated testing tools and test management systems) and the overview of the business domain ROLE REQUIREMENTS This is a fresher role – minimal experience in testing web applications is a plus Good communication and interpersonal skills Analytical reasoning and problem solving High attention to detail Self-motivated Achievement orientated Ability to use own initiative Ability to perform effectively when there are pressure peaks Sets high standards and consistently achieves them Show more Show less
