Job Overview

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support to corporate users. The role requires expertise in Windows OS troubleshooting, Linux and macOS environments, user support, and IT service management. The engineer will manage and resolve technical issues, reduce downtime, and support IT infrastructure in line with business needs. Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure will be considered an added advantage.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide onsite and remote support for corporate users across Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and business applications.
  • Assist in user account management including password resets, access provisioning, and group/permissions management using Active Directory and related tools.
  • Support network connectivity issues (wired, wireless, VPN).
  • Collaborate with IT security teams to ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.
  • Monitor and manage IT service requests through ticketing systems, ensuring timely resolution and quality of support.
  • Provide support for Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, MDM, etc.).
  • Assist with hardware and software upgrades and asset inventory tracking.
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and troubleshooting procedures to enhance the internal knowledge base.
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices in incident, change, and problem management.
  • Provide basic support for AWS and Azure resources as needed or assist in coordination with cloud teams.
  • Report to the Manager – Network & Support and provide regular updates on support activities.

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support roles within corporate environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting and administration skills in Windows 10 & 11.
  • Working knowledge of Linux and macOS environments for end-user support.
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange/365 user management.
  • Proficient in hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals).
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 suite and its administration.
  • Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Wi-Fi.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (basic user/admin knowledge).
  • Experience with ITSM tools and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Fresh service, etc.).

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Microsoft Certifications (MCP, MCSA, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate).
  • CompTIA A+ or CompTIA Network+.
  • ITIL 4 Foundation Certification (Preferred).
  • Linux+ or macOS Support Essentials (Preferred).
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (optional but an advantage).
  • CCNA / CCNP.
