Intune SME Engineer

We require an Intune SME Engineer to contribute to the evolution of Mobility Services. The job requires considerable depth and breadth of technical knowledge. Experience of designing, documenting, and supporting IT infrastructure solutions in a large organization is necessary.

Experience of mobile solutions is desirable but not essential if the applicant can demonstrate a passion for mobile technology.

Experience: 12+ Relevant Years of experience.

• Support the Surface release builds and documentation.
• Provide 3rd level support for all technical issues.
• Knowledge transfer / documentation.
• Maintain a knowledge database.
• Develop and create End user assist articles.
• Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements and documentation.
• Assist with overall risk reduction and exposure.
• Expert-level Windows OS build architecture and deployment experience, including customization and “branding” of Windows OS.
• Windows Autopilot deployment experience using Azure/Intune.
• Experience in configuring and managing Configuration profiles, Compliance Policies, Defender policies, Firewall rules, etc.
• Device management of Windows OS. Bonus if good knowledge or exposure of iOS/iPads and MacOS.
• Excellent knowledge on creating packages using PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT)
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of Vulnerability/Patch Management and security hardening.
• Good understanding on Device and User based Certificates (SCEP and NDES).
• Provide compliance related designs and automation where possible.
• Good understanding of controls and settings with Intune MDM Policies

Your team:

You’ll be working with the Intune Engineering team, who are based in London

Your expertise:

• Ideally 10 years of hands-on experience on Microsoft Windows components.

• Expert-level understanding of Microsoft Intune.

• Expert understanding of modern Windows client Operating Systems

• Strong understanding of computer networking principles (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls) and mobile networking principles (e.g. GSM, LTE, Wi-Fi)

• Strong understanding of IT security principles.

• Good understanding of PowerShell scripting skills.

• Excellent report-writing and documentation skills, good verbal communication.

• Strong troubleshooting ability with extensive hands-on IT support experience, both back-end and user-facing

• Experience within the financial services sector and/or a global organisation

• Ability to solve complex issues, good at problem statement analysis and solution design thinking

• Confident communicator that can explain technology to non-technical audiences
