  • Support the configuration and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Collaborate with developers to automate application builds, testing, and deployments.

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability, and respond to incidents as needed.
  • Ensure basic cloud security best practices are followed across environments.
  • Document processes, configurations, and workflows.

Requirements

  • Basic working knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially EC2 and S3.
  • Experience with Linux command line, basic system administration, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
  • Understanding of Git and version control workflows.
  • Ability to write simple Bash or Python scripts for automation.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Exposure to container technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with basic monitoring/logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK stack, Prometheus).

Compensation

  • Unpaid probation for the first 3 months.
  • 3 to 6 months – ₹5,000 INR/month stipend.
  • 6 to 12 months – ₹10,000 INR/month stipend.
  • Project Commission: 1% of project Gross Profit (GP).
  • For example, if Pqxel makes $20,000 GP on a project, you’ll receive 1% commission = $200 (₹12,000 INR), assuming timely delivery and full payment received from the client.

Location

  • This role is remote, but employees may be invited to attend local company events if applicable.

Timings

  • All employees are required to work 4 to 8 hours per day, including internal meetings during fixed EST hours, and complete all required timesheets and documentation.
  • Employees may occasionally need to work extended hours or weekends during tight delivery timelines.
