Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented

Institutional Sales Manager

with a background in

hotel sales or hospitality product sales

. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our institutional client base—including hotels, resorts, restaurants, corporate accounts, and other hospitality institutions. This role is ideal for a professional who has previously worked as a

Sales Representative

selling to or from hotels and is ready to take the next step in strategic account management and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Business Development:
    • Identify, target, and acquire institutional clients including hotel chains, resorts, event venues, and corporate partners.
    • Leverage existing industry relationships to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Account Management:
    • Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts; understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
    • Regularly conduct client meetings, presentations, and product demos.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership (if applicable):
    • Work closely with internal teams including product, marketing, and logistics to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
    • Mentor or supervise junior sales reps as needed.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Track sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to management.
    • Forecast revenue and manage sales budgets effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of sales experience in the hospitality sector, preferably with hotels or suppliers to hotels.
  • Strong B2B sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage key accounts and close high-value deals.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Background

  • Experience selling hospitality products or services such as F&B, amenities, housekeeping solutions, hotel tech, or operational supplies.
  • Existing network within hotel procurement or operations departments.
