This role includes overseeing incident and problem management to ensure swift resolutions and minimal disruption. The senior enterprise technology engineer will also focus on continuous service improvement, identifying opportunities for enhancing efficiency and quality. They will lead the integration of outsourced and internal teams to deliver unified, high-performing IT support, driving digital transformation initiatives to optimize operations and improve the digital experience for users.Key Responsibilities of a senior enterprise technology engineer for Global Print ServicesGlobal Print Services: Directly manage and optimize global print services, ensuring seamless integration and high-quality print solutions. Engage in hands-on support and improvements for print services in both onshore and offshore operations.Vendor and Service Provider Management: Work closely with contracted service providers, actively monitoring their performance. Address any issues and collaborate with providers to find opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and innovative services.Knowledge and Skills Transition: Implement knowledge transfer processes by conducting training programs, offering mentorship, and creating comprehensive documentation. Ensure the new team is prepared and well-equipped to handle IT services efficiently.Operational excellence: Directly manage end-to-end service delivery, integrating efforts of outsourced and internal teams for consistency and quality. Monitor performance metrics and ensure continuous service improvement.End-user advocacy: Champion a user-focused approach by actively engaging with employees to understand their needs. Develop initiatives to enhance self-service and automation options, improving accessibility and reducing costs.Technology innovation: Leverage cutting-edge technologies such as AI and automation to modernize IT support. Collaborate with teams and service providers to ensure successful implementation and adoption.Budget & financial oversight: Manage day to day tracking and forecasting of the application portfolio budget, directly negotiating vendor contracts and allocating resources to support regional needs effectively.Key characteristics of senior enterprise technology engineer at bpIntellectually curious: comfortable navigating between big ideas and executional realities to support creating and achieving strategic product visions.
