Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Immigration Consultant located in Pune. The Immigration Consultant will be responsible for addressing immigration issues, visa applications, legal matters, consulting clients, and handling global immigration processes on a day-to-day basis.

Legal Compliance:

Ensure compliance with all relevant immigration laws, regulations, and policies set forth by the Indian government and governments of other countries. Stay updated with changes in immigration laws and procedures.

Documentation and Visa Processing:

Coordinate and manage the preparation, submission, and processing of visa applications, work permits, and other immigration-related documents for assignees.

Client Communication:

Act as a primary point of contact for clients or employees regarding their immigration status, providing guidance, updates, and answering queries related to immigration processes.

Case Management:

Handle multiple immigration cases simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines are met and documents are accurate and complete. Maintain detailed records and documentation for each case.

Policy Development:

Develop and implement internal policies and procedures related to immigration processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain positive relationships with government agencies, embassies, consulates, and other relevant authorities involved in the immigration process.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:

Identify potential risks or challenges in immigration cases and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address any issues that may arise during the immigration process.

Consultation and Advising:

Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and their assignees on immigration matters, including eligibility requirements, visa options, and potential challenges.

Reporting and Compliance:

Prepare regular reports on immigration activities, including visa issuance, application status, and compliance metrics, for internal use or as required by regulatory authorities.

Overall, your role as an immigration consultant requires a thorough understanding of immigration laws and procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. You will play a crucial role in facilitating the smooth and compliant entry and stay of individuals into and out of India.

Additional Responsibilities:

Co-ordination with the entire Everything Expats team is a must. In your role you will also be required you to assist the relocation process from end to end as and when required, which includes but is not limited to property visits with clients, apartment handovers, drafting of paperwork (lease agreements, vendor creation documents, move in checklists etc.) setting up of utilities and repairs, departure services, packing and moving of house hold goods, visiting the registrar's office etc.

Salary Cap - Up to Rs. 4,80,000 per annum (on the basis of your current ctc)
