About the role:

Head of Sales – IT Services (Manufacturing Domain)



Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Sales Leadership

    : Develop and implement the sales strategy for the manufacturing vertical, aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
  • Identify key market trends, client needs, and emerging technologies impacting the manufacturing industry
  • Establish and execute scalable go-to-market plans targeting, process, and industrial manufacturing clients. And existing C-level connections in the metals industry is a plus.
  • Business Development & Revenue Growth:

    Lead enterprise-level engagements and large-scale IT transformation opportunities across manufacturing organizations.
  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities through consultative selling and value-based engagement models.
  • Key Account Management:

  • Maintain high customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and delivery alignment
  • Develop and manage senior-level client relationships to drive long-term partnerships.
  • Build a high-performance sales culture focused on growth, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Sales Operations & Performance Management:

  • Define and manage revenue targets, win ratios, and sales cycle benchmarks.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, and performance analytics.
  • Present regular business reviews and sales forecasts to executive leadership
  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Annual and quarterly revenue growth for the manufacturing vertical.
  • Customer acquisition and retention rates.
  • Sales pipeline value and conversion rates.



You Bring (Experience + Qualification):

  • A university degree in a relevant field such as technical studies, economics, metallurgy, or process engineering.
  • Minimum 15 Years in IT services sales with at least 5 years focused on the manufacturing vertical.
  • Experience with production and business processes in the manufacturing sector, preferably in the metal industry.
  • A solid understanding of production business processes and the related software solutions, combined with a strong affinity for IT, which will be instrumental in performing your tasks.
  • Several years of sales experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions, as well as IT project management, ideally within the metal industry.
  • Demonstrated sales expertise with a flexible approach and strong business acumen, with a proven track record of successfully closing contracts.
  • Knowledge of international contract management and contract law.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Business fluency in English is required.
  • Up to 50% monthly travel to customer sites.
