Job Description

Strategic Planning and Execution

  • Developing Operations Strategy: Aligning operations with the overall company strategy and developing plans to achieve operational goals.
  • Process Optimization: Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
  • Risk Management: Assessing and mitigating operational risks to minimize disruptions and protect the business.

Operational Oversight

  • Day-to-Day Operations: Ensuring the smooth running of daily operations, including production, logistics, supply chain, and customer service.
  • Performance Monitoring: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
  • Resource Allocation: Allocating resources effectively to support operational needs and maximize productivity.

People Management

  • Team Leadership: Leading and motivating a team of operations managers and staff to achieve operational goals.
  • Talent Development: Identifying, developing, and retaining top talent within the operations team.
  • Performance Management: Conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and addressing performance issues.

Financial Management

  • Budgeting: Developing and managing operational budgets to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Cost Control: Implementing cost-saving measures to improve profitability.
  • Financial Reporting: Providing accurate and timely financial reports to senior management.


Regulatory Compliance

  • Adherence to Regulations: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Risk Assessment: Identifying and addressing potential regulatory compliance risks.

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure effective coordination.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient operations and timely delivery of services.


In essence, an Associate Vice President of Operations is a strategic leader who bridges the gap between the company's overall strategy and its day-to-day operations. Their ability to effectively manage people, processes, resources and client is crucial for the success of the business.

Qualifications:

  • • Bachelor’s degree or MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • • Min 21+ years of experience in US healthcare specific to RCM or Medical coding with atleast 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in managing operations, with a proven track record of managing large teams and complex P&L responsibilities.
  • Prior experience in managing large projects on HCC coding is required
  • • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, revenue cycle management, and best practices.
  • • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team development and client satisfaction.
  • • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and driving results.
