We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Foundry & Inventory Ops Trainee to provide broad support to our Inventory Operations team. This entry-level role is ideal for a recent university or college graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in e-commerce inventory management, data organization, and process documentation. The trainee will assist with critical day-to-day tasks, develop a deep understanding of our PIM system, and contribute to optimizing our operational workflows. A key interest in exploring and applying AI methods to streamline tasks and enhance efficiency is highly valued.
What you’ll be doing:
  • Inventory Support: Assist with various stages of the digital inventory lifecycle, including preparing, importing, and managing product data within our PIM system.
  • Digital Asset Management: Support the team in adding, organizing, and arranging digital assets, particularly images, ensuring they meet platform specifications and enhance product presentation.
  • Data Preparation & Organization: Aid in structuring and organizing diverse data sets to ensure they are clean, accurate, and ready for efficient ingestion into the PIM system.
  • Process Documentation: Document new operational processes and update existing ones as the team performs various tasks, contributing to clear, standardized, and accessible internal knowledge.
  • Operational Efficiency Initiatives: Contribute ideas and support the exploration of AI methods and tools that can be structured and re-employed to automate repetitive tasks, improve data accuracy, and generally make daily work more efficient.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with team members to understand operational challenges and contribute to solutions that enhance productivity and data quality.
  • Learning & Development: Proactively learn about the e-commerce platform, PIM functionalities, and best practices in digital inventory management.
What we’re looking for:
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from a university or college, obtained within the last 0-2 years.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • A keen interest in data organization, digital platforms, and e-commerce operations.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and interest in new technologies, particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its potential applications for process improvement.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite), especially spreadsheet applications.
  • Intermediate-level Excel knowledge for data manipulation and updates.
  • Willing to work in UK and India time zones on permanent/rotational basis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to document processes clearly.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Prior experience in data entry, content management, or administrative support (e.g., through coursework, internships, or personal projects) is a plus.
